This  piece was originally going to be something else completely. I tried not letting my appreciation of japanese style bleed through. Oh well, I guess I dedicate this one to Chris Phelps.

Hey! Here's a little bit of what's been going on in figure.

Inventive figure (alone)

This is one of the figures that I mentioned in an earlier post.

      For this drawing my figure teacher just said "Fuck it!" and had the model play his sitar for an hour. I had a lot of fun with this one because at no point were his hands still. This was probably the most fun I've had in figure this year!

      This was a pose I turned in to show that I've learned anatomy

       This was another piece that I was going to turn in for anatomy, but then I made a better piece in class. I didn't get the chance to scan the new piece yet.

      This one was just for fun. The teacher put some toy houses on the model. I just figured I'd turn her into a mountain.

So here is my inventive interior with implied figure. I decided to do a Viking piece so I looked at a lot of How to Train Your Dragon. I also found a lot of help from Tangled concepts.
